Dr.rer.nat. Susanna Berger
I am a psychotherapist and have been working in various institutions in the psychosocial field since 2012.
My professional path initially led me into the field of natural sciences. After completing my PhD in molecular biology in Vienna and a subsequent research stay in the Netherlands, I devoted myself to psychotherapeutic training alongside my work as a science communicator.
I was born in Carinthia, Austria, in 1979, am married, and have two children.
Further education
In the field of psychotherapeutic theory and practice, I engage in continuous further education. This allows me to offer a way of working that is based on the latest findings and thus reflects the current state of scientific knowledge.
Network
In the psychosocial field, I am well connected due to my education, training, and professional experience, and I can also provide you with contacts to other psychotherapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists in Carinthia, Styria and Vienna.
Quality
I attend regular supervision and engage in exchanges with colleagues from various disciplines. These forms of reflection enable me to better understand your experience and to support you in an empathetic and constructive way.
Languages
I offer psychotherapy in German and English.
